The association Adorea - fencing team" is the association of professional fencers who prepare:

1. film and theatre fencing choreography (including providing professional fencing team (doublers, the cast)

2. special public events and festivities (rauts, various cultural envents, e.g. town festivities)

3. instruction of scenic, theatre and historical fencing and stage combat

4. castle and chateau revivals by means of the period customs exhibitions (fencers, musicians, dancers, magicians and jugglers, etc. - for example during castle tours and festivities)

The association is concerned with studying, training and exhibiting historical fencing, creating choreography and scenic fencing instruction. At present, the association Adorea has five members and a drummer, and collaborates with quality fencers, women dancers and magicians and jugglers. The beginnings of Adorea go back to the year 1998. In 2008 Adorea built up the partnership with the important Polish association Aramis (concerned with instructing so called classical fencing that picks up on the nineteenth century traditions).

The exhibitions are mainly from the developed Gothic period, first half of the sixteenth century Renaissance and Thirty Years War, but also from other periods. We try to copy the style of fencing from the historical periods as truly as possible, in which we are assisted by extant textbooks on fencing masters Hans Tallhofer, Joachym Meyer, Agrippy, Achille Marozza, etc. All members went through fencing courses in the School of Europian Martial Arts "Magisterium" in Brno. These courses were led by Petr Vytopil and Petr Žákovský. The Adorea members also took part in week courses of fencing master Peter Koza (SK) and completed the fencing course of the foil Roman Spáčil (Merlet) and Petr Nusek (Argo) in Tábor.

The association prepares both festivities for public and private events (e.g.rauts), takes part in historical days and town festivities. The Adorea members have experience with shooting films, making up fencing duel choreography and also mass scuffles and fights (the Netherlands, Spain, Slovak Republic, Germany, Poland, Italy). Adorea has also experience with stunt scenes in made up festivities - every member collaborated wit stunt agency "IPON". Adorea fencers also participate in "Alt Blau" (Swedish unit of troops from the Thirty Years War) performances.

Film and theatre

We offer trained fencers for various film shootings (films, music clips, commercials) and for theatre performance. We are able to make up fencing scuffles and duels choreography and also mass and fights choreography. Fights are performed truly and realistically. We are able to instruct actors in using edged and shooting weapons and to provide various period costumes. Here are to be found the backrounds and film extra lists of the particular fencers. Rauts and other company events and special offers

We are able to make up festivities by your request for various occassions: rauts, company parties and others. We can provide women dancers, fire show, various games and competitions, a beggar, fencing performance, night show, guard at the entry plus welcomig the guests, and others according to your wish and ideas. We are of course able to modify the festivities in such way that it perfectly fits into the atmosphere of your event.
